Arrived Tower Grove Park about 1030am and had my personal FOY C Yellowthroat, Wood Thrush and Nashville Warbler in the Gaddy Garden; missed Shawn's Gray Catbird but saw one a little later later east of he Magnolia house. A Blue-gray Gnatcatcher and several Ruby-crowned Kinglets with a lingering Red-breasted Nuthatch, Hermit Thrush and full complement of White-crowned Sparrows were also in the Gaddy Garden. At least one Great-horned Owl was in the pines next to the stone picnic shelter. In the eastern end of TGP there was a male Summer Tanager across from Jack Van's pond west of the cypress circle.

A brief visit to Forest Park mid-day produced a Swainson's Thrush seen from the switchback path west of the Living World and a gloriously preening Snowy Egret on a foot bridge near the Boathouse.
