The Columbia Audubon field trip to Rock Bridge Mem. State Park,  
beginning just after the rain ended this morning, brought some good  
birds to the 5 participants.  Among them:

Kentucky Warbler
2 Black-throated Green Warblers
Black-and-White Warbler
Louisiana Waterthrush (3)
Northern Parula (10)
Yellow-throated Vireo
Warbling Vireo (2)
Red-eyed Vireo
Swainson's Thrush
one unidentified empid.

Cosmo-Bethel Pond had a couple surprises:
5 Brown Thrashers
1 Common Yellowthroat
1 Northern Pintail
1 Red-breasted Nuthatch

Twin Lakes had 4 Spotted Sandpipers

Eagle Bluffs in the late afternoon was a different place from that  
seen earlier by Kathleen, Harold and Sandy.  Same number of species,  
but very different content:

2 American Golden-Plovers in the McBaine Wetland, directly in front  
of the entrance road
2 White-faced Ibis in Pool 11--one seen from the loop road; one from  
the parking area
1 Semipalmated Plover in Pool 10 (where most of the other shorebirds  
80 Cliff Swallows at the Perche Creek bridge--there at 7:15, not at  
1 Solitary Sandpiper Pool 10 at the loop turn around end
