Awoke to the most birdsong yet this spring. Aren't we all happier when it's 60 degrees in the morning!

FOY Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Ruby-crowned Kinglet -2
Red-breasted Nuthatch -2
Hermit Thrush- in the swamp and along the wet weather streambed
Yellow-rumped Warbler - male and female
American Crow- 2 gazing at the glittering goldfish in the pond for sp. #27 there
E. Phoebe

The Phoebe continues to circle the property, feeding and singing. Highlight was watching him perch on the Ptelea trifoliata (Wafer Ash or Hoptree) and flycatch over the field of violets. He was also finding insects low in the swamp, mid and high canopy.

Happy Spring, finally!
