Shelley's Tomb in the Protestant Cemetery in Rome, an 1873 painting
by Walter Crane. The tombstone in the foreground is actually that of
John Keats; the Pyramid of Cestius is in the background.
Keats' epitaph: Here lies One Whose Name was writ in Water.

A tidbit from a nother list:
I always liked the fact that Percy Bysshe Shelley, Antonio Gramsci, and
Gregory Corso are buried in the same so-called "Protestant Cemetery" in
Rome. (Keats is also there.) It is a very beautiful cemetery and if
you
are in Rome it is worth the trip.
