I spent a hour plus wandering the main trail of Martha Lafite Thompson in Liberty this morning. It was very birdy, but mostly juncos, white-throated sparrows, cardinals and goldfinches. I didn't find any of the less common sparrows I hoped for, but I did get a kinglet and a creeper!
