Today was a great day for feeder birds here in Rolla, around 2:30 pm the real surprise was a Brown Thrasher in my large box feeder which sits about six feet off the ground on a wooden pole surrounded by stove pipe (keeps the squirrels off). I also had 20 or more Pine Siskin and a good number of Purple Finch.
