Yvonne and all,

SADDLEDAM DIRECTIONS (from previous post)
- Turn RIGHT onto IL-127, go straight through the town of Carlyle to
downtown
at the intersection where IL-127 and Hwy 50 split off.
- Turn left to remain on Hwy 50 and go ~ 1.8 miles to the large sign
designating the turn-off for South Shores, etc.
- Turn LEFT at this road.
- Go a few tenths of a mile to a stopSIGN*.
- Turn RIGHT, this will take one to the Saddle Dam, (elevated open area) to
view the lake.

Just up the road is "Green Meadows" (birder speak) or now called Dam West
Access.

Also please see Carlyle Section of "Birds of the St. Louis Area" pages 73-75

ALSO.......
PLEASE don't forget to use the FRS radios tuned to 11/22.
You can talk to several people at a time if you don't have their cellphone
numbers.

Hope this helps.

Will be in and out for the next few days so little to no e-mail access.

Good chasing,
Charlene Malone
St. Louis co.
