That's not a 'duh' question at all ! ! !

It's a little confusing, but Burroughs Audubon Society is the local chapter
of National Audubon Society, so one would have 'dual' membership.

Audubon Society of Missouri (ASM) is affiliated, but a separate organization
with separate membership.

Some of us unsuccessfully suggested a name change from ASM to something like
the Ornithological Society of Missouri to differentiate the 'Audubon' groups
(confusingly, there's also an Audubon Missouri that is yet another branch of
National).

If you want to subscribe to The Bluebird and avoid feelings of guilt from
some of the list members, you could visit the ASM website and learn how to
join!
