This morning (12/17/07)in Forest Park feeding with a large flock of juncos there were at least a half dozen American Tree Sparrows. This isn't a species I've seen much of in the park the past few years. Not a very timely report, but there was also one Am. Tree Sparrow in FP last Monday (12/10) along with 5 other sparrow species: White-throated Sparrow Song Sparrow Swamp Sparrow Fox Sparrow Dark-eyed Junco The area near the skating rink has become a nice spot for finding sparrows.
