The Little Gull was observed at the Carlyle Sewage ponds by 5 birders  
Tuesday morning.  The Lesser Black-backed Gull was seen in the early  afternoon at 
the beach by the visitor's center; but, as far as  I know, the Glaucous-Winged 
Gull was not found.  
 
Like Brad Jacobs, I saw entire fields covered with blackbirds and swarms of  
them flying around along IL Hwy 50.
