It is time for all of you who have siskins coming to your feeders to stop
feeding so the rest of us can get them at our feeders.
Is that a deal?

I do have a good assortment at our feeders: Red-breasted Nuthatches,
Goldfinches, Purple Finches, House Finches, Juncos, White-throated sparrows,
Fox Sparrows. Plus numerous Robins, Cedar Waxwings, and Yellow-rumped
Warblers coming to the water everyday.
Last week, (Wednesday, November 7) while staring out waiting for the
Siskins, Grosbeaks, Crossbills, and Varied Thrush to make an appearance, I
was treated to a Cape May Warbler at the water in the yard. Alas, it was a
one-day-wonder (more like a one-minute-wonder) and has not been seen again.
(New yard bird, and a species I have not seen in several years.)
