Visited the Gaddy (Tower Grove Park, STL) yesterday evening. It was
fairly quiet, birdwise, but I did see two Gray-cheeked Thrushes, along
with at least five Ovenbirds, an Eastern Phoebe, a Black-and-White
Warbler, Chimney Swifts, and a scurrying brown bit of feather in a
brushpile which turned out to be a House Wren, not the Winter I had
hoped for. I was surprised to see the bubbler dry and the whole area
around it mowed to the ground.
