Mike Warnock and Tim James re-found the Red Knot today, August 27, at
Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area in southern Boone County. The Red Knot
was in the area of the distribution channel that is located between the
end of the second one-way loop and the area where the Bald Eagles have
nested. Apparently there is some mudflat area next to the water in this
channel. The very gray-appearing Red Knot was just beyond the Wood Duck
nest box located about halfway along this pool of water.

The American Avocet was still in the back reaches of the Sapp Tract
(pools 14-15) at Eagle Bluffs CA.
