Arrived 7:45 this a.m. - 
Good luck and saw 4 Buff-breasted Sandpiper's feeding in the sod field, the
one off Hwy 79 near Foley on Fischer Road right across the tracks about
300-400 yards down, initially on the left side of the road.
They were quite a distance away, but could clearly see their coloring, and
rounded head, black beak as they made their way closer to the road while
feeding - also when they flew as a group to the other side of the road you
could see the slivery-white coloring on the underside.  I could not see
their legs because of them standing in the grass.  They were definitely not
like the Killdeer that were also present.
Glad I got to see them, and was able to watch them for a long time.
I am a beginning birder - exciting for me to spot them and be able to identify.
