Rather tired and various other variables limiting computer time, so have to
make this quick.

Otter Slough CA, Stoddard co.
NO Roseate Spoonbill (fill in expletives here)

FINALLY........ WHITE-WINGED DOVE at East Prairie. Feeder down a side
street.

Catfish Farms just off of I-155 at Carthurersville exit.
Ponds being drained and had SEVERAL shorebirds.
M.obs at site.
Highlights:
2-3 LEAST TERNS
80+ B-N STILTS
2 WILLETS
2 BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS ( Jim thought se saw one and then Tom Bormann
found two)
Think there were 14 species of shorebirds, but not sure of that count.
Lowlights:
temperature read 110 degrees on the van temp. monitor

White Ibis spot:
We only saw two immature birds at the end of the day, but earlier Bormann
and Rogles found SIX immature WHITE IBISES. (first liar does not stand a
chance.)

Food highlight:
Patty Ann's Restaurant in Hayti. EXCELLENT service and food at a cheap
price.
Not open on Sundays.

Gotta' go.

Charlene Malone
St. Louis co.
