I took a stroll around Twin Lakes this morning, beginning at 7:30,
walking from the parking lot along the hillside at the north side of
the area, going clockwise around the lakes. The surprise of the day
were 2 Green Herons fishing with the Great Blue--not in the fishing
lake, but the swimming lake. They seemed to like the action of the
aerator. Full list on CACHE.

A beaver was hard at work last night. It severely damaged, perhaps
killed a memorial weeping willow at the northeast corner of the
area. Columbia Parks & Rec have been notified.
