Continuing this little break a ways further

Newton was more concerned with theology than either optics or gravity and
thought his lasting place in history would be his theological explorations.
His will called for the endowment of a series of Sermons upon a variety of
theological subjects. He would probably not have enjoyed Pope's blasphemy.

Much overlooked amidst the Calculus and the optics and the gravity and the
mechanics and the theology is Newton's work on Acids and Bases. In his role
as an alchemist he did much to turn the investigations of alchemy into
Chemistry.
