Just a friendly reminder........ (still in Spring Editor mode.....sorry)
If one checks the "Annotated Checklist of MO Birds" found on the ASM
website,
http://mobirds.org/MBRC/MOChecklist.asp
one can find out the status of any of the birds seen in MO.
It is updated regularly when the MBRC makes any changes in the status of a
species.
Also any out of season duck's status can be checked on this list.
Some are only rare like the Blue-winged Teal (include those sightings on a
Summer Seasonal Report to Andy Forbes, see the ASM website for his e-mail
address)
but others are casual to accidental like the NORTHERN PINTAIL and NEED
written documentation please.Doc. form on the ASM website under the MBRC
section.
Send them to Bill Rowe whose address is at the end of the form.

On vagrants.......
See that B-B Whistling ducks have made it to MN.
Neotropic cormorant next door in IL and Iowa (maybe a "breadcrumb trail" of
fish to lure the IL bird into MO?) GOOD goin' Frank Holmes for finding that
bird.!

Keep your eyes peeled.

Good Summer birding kids,
Charlene Malone
St. Louis Co.
