I walked another part of a creek this morning looking for artifacts. Struck out on that but did have nice asst of birds, almost all of them singing/calling including Mourning, Chestnut-sided, Yellow, N. Parula, Am Redstart, L. Waterthrush, ad YB Chat Warblers. Flycatchers seen and heard - Acadian, Yellow-bellied, Great - crested, Pewee, and Phoebe. Also Wood Thrush, Orioles, Summer Tanager, Carolina Wren, and other expected species.

Saw two nice breeding plumaged Black-bellied Plovers yesterday at edge of still flooded field.
