Today Kathleen Anderson, Anne Downing, and I walked
East from Creasy Springs on the Bear Creek Tail.
Parts of the trail were very muddy where the creek
had overflowed or where water had run into the creek
after Sunday's heavy rain.

A Least Flycatcher was heard but not seen.

Birds seen included:

Pileated Woodpecker-close, getting bugs from downed
log.

Eastern Wood-Pewee
Eastern Phoebe
Great Crested Flycatcher
Swainson's Thrush

Philadelphia and Red-eyed Vireo

Tennessee, Nashville, Northern Parula, Magnolia,
Louisiana Waterthrus, and Common Yellothroat

Female Rose-breated Grosbeak

Indigo Bunting
