I did a little walk about in Bluff Woods CA this morning. A few warblers are showing up. I got five (5) Kentucky Warblers and several Orange-crowned, Nashville (FOY for me) and a Tennessee. Quite a few Indigo Buntings are around now. I had ten (10) Blue-gray Gnatcatchers and watched a couple of them putting finishing touches on their nest. Six (6) Carolina Wrens were flitting around the woods. I will enter complete list on CACHE.

Over on Crockett Road where the horse, goat, sheep, laama, etc are penned I count thirty (30) Yellow-headed Blackbirds. I visited a little bit with the people there and they said that these birds stay all summer. I will have to check back on that!

  Well, off to California!

  Later, All,
