We birded the Hazel Creek WA (north of Kirksville) this 
morning, with 35 species. Saw or heard the following:

Turkey Vulture
Meadowlark
Canada Goose
Grackle
Robin
Morning Dove
Starling
Red-winged Blackbird
Bluejay
House Wren
Flickeer
Song Sparrow (wonderful singing looks)
White-breasted Nuthatch
Eastern Towhee
E. Bluebird
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Field Sparrow
N. Cardinal
Cowbird (many of these--ugh!)
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Baltimore Oriole (singing high)
Coots
Double-crested Cormorant
Tree Swallow (nesting in a bluebird box)
Barn Swallow
E. Kingbird
Common Yellowthroat
Black-capped Chickadee
E. Phoebe
Turkey
Red-bellied WP
Pied-billed Grebe
Killdeer
House Sparrow
