What city are you reporting from ???

Esa Jarvi <[log in to unmask]> wrote: My first of the year, on bike path North of downtown (on the river),
approximately 3000 North, just South of McKinley bridge. They nest somewhere
on a man made structure (I saw them most often near towers and transformers)
in the industrial wasteland between the bike path and Broadway. Most years I
see them with three youngsters later in the summer.

I see some there every year.

Trees along the river were cleared due to bike path maintenance and bridge
work, so there is now less bird habitat. One Redwinged Blackbird now where
there was 100 before.
