Started my walkabout on the trace at 6:30 this morning and the whole area was alive with birds. 

Common Yellowthroat, 30
Chat, 12
E. Kingbird, 4
Brown Thrasher, 5
N. Mockingbird, 6
Catbird, 2
Blue Wing, 13
L, Waterthrush, 3
Worm eating Warbler, 3
N.Parula, 9
Black and White, 3
Yellow throated, 3
Prairie Warbler, 4
Bells Vireo, 3
Henslow Sparrow, 21
Loggerhead Shrik, 1
Ticks, they are out, and if they get on, they are in.
Bird of the day............Nashville Warbler. I was standing on a slab bridge and this little beauty dropped down not 10 feet in front of me for a drink, what a treat.
