Got to Columbia Bottoms about 6:45PM, drove around the new (dirt) road. Still many blue-wing teal, shovelers and coots, some peeps and ?yellowlegs? in the new ponds. Had one male orchard oriole, singing in a cottonwood along the levee path. Other singers: redwings, horned larks, meadowlarks. Are there recordings online of woodpeckers drumming? Heard one tonight that i'd like to ID.
