Was priveledged to take 2 young teenagers to Eagle
Bluffs this morning.  They were thrilled to see the
adult Bald Eagles, one was on the nest.  

Another thrill for them was the 450 American White
Pelicans.  A group of about 30 were near the disabled
blind; others were in distance between Sapp tract and
the River.

Unfortunately the screech owl was not at home.

Only shorebirds were 2 Wilson's Snipe and 3 Greater
Yellowlegs.

Only ducks seen were shovelers, blue wing teal,
mallards, gadwall, and coots.

One of the boys was enthralled with the red-wing
blackbirds!
