While killing time waiting for dark so I could run my frog breeding survey route near Tightwad, I wandered over to Harry S.Truman State Park. At the left turn to the ranger station, numerous Woodcocks were calling and flying over the fields. A little past the ranger station, the sound of spring peepers was almost deafening. Lots of western chorus frogs out tonight, too.
