We went by Thomas Hill right after lunch on Friday. It was cloudy, but the rain had mostly stopped. Birds seen include: COMMON MERGANSER (There were many, many of these, most already in pairs) Hooded Merganser Ruddy Ducks Mallard Canada Goose Ring-billed Gull Great Blue Heron Bald Eagle Pied-billed Grebe This was the most Common Mergansers I have ever seen at one time.
