Eagle Bluffs, 3:15-6:20 was a great place to be today.

Highlights include

4 Sandhill Cranes flying over the south end, and that sweet, sweet
sound.

1 American Pipit in the burn between the roads just after turning
onto the second one-way

About 5,000 Snow Geese (nothing like the numbers at Grand Pass, but a
good show)

Greater White-fronted Geese--about 450 in two areas

9 pick-outable Ross's

251 American White Pelicans--Sapp tract and flying north into main part

1 Eastern Phoebe--road into Sapp tract

13 species of ducks, incl. 3 Buffleheads really showing off, one
Common Goldeneye, 2 wigeon

23 Wilson's Snipe in several places.

1 Eastern Screech Owl now in the third box from the right--the one
way in the back

I started to wait for woodcock, but ground fog was developing rapidly
and heavy--I almost missed the KK turn on the way home.

Full list on CACHE later
