Forward from Dan Kassebaum.
B-L Kittiwakes "usually" hang out with bonies, so if you find a group of bonies, pick through them carefully.
Dan didn't say what time he had the Kittiwake but it was probably early in the AM. (North end opens at 6 AM)
Heat distortion got really bad at Riverlands in the afternoon on Monday, so maybe other places too.

Hi Charlene,

I noticed on MOBD that people were requesting info on the Black-legged Kittiwake.
I did see the bird on Monday, but it was at the north end of the lake. The bird was
using the strong winds and kiting as it fed. It was hanging out with a large (150) group
of Bonaparte's Gulls. I could see the bird easily from the boat launch at the north
parking lot.
