Dear MoBirders,

Out at Bradford Farm, Boone County this afternoon, several Lucky Birders:
Jean Leonatti, Brad Jacobs, Chris Mantle, two Ladies, a Gentleman (Please
Forgive me, I am Horrible at Remembering Names...) and myself..., had the
Great Fortune of Seeing 12-20 LAPLAND LONGSPURS and a Female ROUGH-
LEGGED HAWK!!! There were also Large Numbers of Western Meadowlarks (25-
30++) and Horned Larks (40-50++), they were Allover the Place!!! Two Short-
Eared Owls made a Very Early Appearance (they were out at least 2-1/2 Hours
Before Sunset...), and there were (3) Northern Harriers, (2) Red-Tailed Hawks,
(3) Male American Kestrels and Many Sparrows and the other Usual
Suspects... A Truly Lovely Day Afternoon out at Bradford Farms!!!

Yours,
Jonathan B. Pons
Columbia, Boone County

P.S. A Special Thank You to the Gentleman who Helped us with his Jumper-
Cables!!! Thank You!!!
