  Species seen in eastern part of county along Hwy 24 in the area near Matt Ford, Buckner
  Great-tailed Grackle, Rusty Blackbirds -in trees near white houses just east of Matt Ford
  Loggerhead Shrike- road to the east of the white houses, go north small ponds, shrike in this area along crest of the hill.
  Northern Harrier-road across from Matt Ford go south, Bottoms in this area, sometimes grackles are in this area
  Winter wren my back yard along Bundschu Road north side. Big yellow house seen through trees, along creek.
  2 Yellow-bellied Sapsucker have been here all winter, drive to the house is on Jackson Drive just north of the park on the corner east side. Second house in past the swimming pool and the barn shed. 37 species seen in the yard so far this year. 81 species since I moved in 10 months ago.
  Red-Shafted Flicker- North from stop light in Buckner, log house turn right onto road, pond south side, in big trees along fence line.
  Fire Prairie Creek Wetlands- east of Buckner, big lumber company north of Hwy 24 turn north go past lumber company and turn right by Merchon (sic)Farms feed lot, turn left into wetlands public area. Sparrows: White-crowned, Harris, Song, Swamp, Tree, White-Throated. Duck if water is open. Other birds possible over 100 species recorded in this area over the year. Good wintering area for sparrows.
