Bill Clark, Jim Denninghoff, Kathleen Anderson and I went to Eagle
Bluffs CA, southern Boone Co., today. Things are changing fast! I
was last there on Monday. Whole new waves of geese are now showing:

Snow Geese 300 (none there Monday)
Ross's Goose 1 (of course could have been more, but this one was on
parade)
White-fronted Geese 617 (didn't see any Monday)
Canada Goose 1957 (several smaller race birds present)
Cackling Goose 16 (probably more present)

Big goose congregation down near Pool 10 where area has been baited
for Snow Geese (signs on road to indicate area).

Green-winged Teal 277
Canvasback 1
Ring-necked, shoveler, gadwall, pintails
Mallard 2,450 (probably a very conservative estimate)--we still
didn't find a black duck

Full list on CACHE later.
