Here are some upcoming Columbia Audubon Field Trips that MoBirders might be
interested in:

Saturday, February 17 - Bradford Farm. This will be the monthly bird survey
of this mostly grassland type habitat. Meet by 8:00a near the metal machine
buildings at UMC Bradford Farm property, off of Rangeline Road. Trip
usually concludes by noon. Lots of walking, and dress for the weather minus
about 10 degrees! Trip Coordinator: Brad Jacobs, [log in to unmask]

February 25 - Painted Rock Conservation Area and Sinquefield Reserve near
Folk, Missouri. The Sinquefield Reserve is private land on the Osage River,
several miles east of Jefferson City. It is 1,000 acres of mixed habitat
including river frontage, woodland, open fields, and several lakes. This
will be an all day trip - please bring a sack lunch and water. Bring your
FRS radios as we may break into smaller birding groups. Toilet facilities
are available on site. ATVs will be available to transport us to different
sections of the property. Departure will be from the Columbia commuter lot
at AC and Highway 63 at 7:30a. We will make one stop enroute, at
approximately 8:15a at the McDonalds on east Highway 50 for Jefferson
City/Rolla Area residents who may want to join this trip. Trip Coordinator:
Mary McCarthy, 573-808-6665 (c).

As a courtesy, please call Mary if you plan to join the trip at the
Jefferson City location - just so she knows what to expect and doesn't
leave anyone behind.
