Mobirders,

I am going to execute a search for Northern Saw-whet Owls on Thursday,
February 1. This search will take place in Knox County, Missouri
(approximately 5 miles northeast of Edina, Missouri.)

I have it from two sources that owls have been HEARD at this location.

It is a VAST area and searching by oneself HAS been fruitful in the past,
but often takes multiple trips! The more eyes, the better.

If you are interested in participating in this 9 or 10 a.m. quest, please
email me off list and I'll contact you to set up meeting time/location.

For those not aware of Edina's "place" in Missouri. It is located:

26 miles east of Kirksville, MO; or 62 miles northwest of Hannibal, MO; or
112 miles northeast of Columbia, MO; or 175 miles northwest of St. Louis

Contact me at either of the email address below...

..and if you have a FRS Radio, bring it along and set it to 11/22.

Patrick
