Jim Ziebol left a message on my phone at 347pm Sunday afternoon. From Bend Road off Hwy 203 just past the railroad tracks he saw a loon species, possibly a Pacific from the size. As soon as he spotted it, everything took off and he was unable to get a positive ID. Thought it was not a Red-throated, as bill was not carried pointing up. Last seen toward the north shore heading east.
