I suspect the only "open water" north of I-70 in Missouri will be lakes that
have power plants on them!

Unless we get a warming trend.

Thomas Hill Reservoir (Macon/Randolph Counties) will remain at least "half
open" because of the warm effluent from the plant. This body of water might
hold some real good birds over the next week or so as other bodies of water
freeze over.
