I had a Brown Thrasher yesterday and today too.
Shirley Flood had one this week also.
She lives a couple miles south of us as the thrasher flies.
We're in town in Joplin, Jasper County.

Other unusual birds at the feeders in the ice:
Tree Sparrow 1, White-crowned Sparrow 2,
Harris 2, and a Fox Sparrow. Like
Kathleen in Columbia, we have plenty of
White-throated Sparrows in the yard.
We didn't encounter Brown Thrasher on our Joplin CBC.
Or, I should say I didn't find them. I was part of the "in town" party....

Good birding, Larry H. Joplin (Jasper County) MO
