As Mike Thelen posted a couple of days ago, St.Louis Audubon Society is
sponsoring a two-part trip to Riverlands on Saturday, Jan 13. One section
is set for experienced birders and the other, which will go its own way, is
set for novice birders.

However, as of 7:30 pm today, Jan 12, there is a possible ice storm
predicted for most of St. Louis and St. Charles counties. In order to deal
with this we made the following arrangments. Paul Bauer will get up before
7:00 AM tomorrow and check the roads in his area, north St. Louis county,
and will consult with Mike Thelen as well. If the roads are icy Paul will
call me and I will post to MOBirds that we are cancelling the trip. While
we hate to lose a birding trip, we don't want anyone trying to come out if
conditions are really nasty.
