From about 2:30 to 3:00 PM a Northern Waterthrush was hanging around my backyard, exploring the grounds of my now dormant vegetable garden. I have never seen one this late in the season. Does anyone know when the usual date is for them to have migrated through the Saint Louis area? I'm guessing late September. Has anyone else ever seen one this late?
Thanks,
MJ Voss
