Larry:
On Monday here at home in town...we had sort of a backyard "fallout" of birds.
I didn't get to watch the yard continually but included were:

  1-Winter Wren (new for yard)
3-4- Golden crowned Kinglets(new for yard)
Many-Ruby crowned Kinglets (more than I have ever seen at one time anywhere)
1-Dark-eyed Junco (FOY for the yard) (Had 1 last week end at the cabin)
  1 Yellow rumped Warbler
  1-Brown Creeper
  1-Turkey (fly-over)
Other mostly "usuals" included: BC Chickadee, N Cardinal, Blue Jay, Downy Wpkr,
House Finch, Carolina Wren, WB Nuthatch, Hairy Wpkr, A Robin, E Starling.

Guess the cold front brought them in.

Also interesting. We made a quick run down to the cabin (Platte Co.) to set some houseplants inside and in the hour and a half we were there we did not see one bird.

  later,
  Frances and Georgia
