I still have only two or so hummingbirds left. Yesterday there were more,
but it got cold last night and will be colder - 36 degrees predicted -
tonight.

Saw my first white-throated sparrows of season this afternoon - in yard 4
p.m.

Also saw today:
White-eyed vireos - 3
Ruby crowned kinglets - everywhere it seemed
Golden crowned kinglets - several
Common Yellowthroats - 2
Pine warblers

Yesterday at Mingo saw:
Northern parulas - many on Red Mill Drive
Chestnut-sided
Magnolia
Tennessee
Yellow-rumped - FOS
Nashville
Brown creepers - several
Winter wren
Scarlet tanager
Philadelphia vireos - 2
white-eyed vireos
Indigo buntings- many
Catbirds
Rose-breasted grosbeaks
Swamp, song, and white-crowned sparrows (but NO Leconte's or sharp-tailed)
