Going stir crazy at home, I had to break out for a while.

IL birds:
Swan Lake is crawling (!!) with waterfowl, swallows, and still some
shorebirds.
Those up for the walk along the levee (first entrance after the Brussels
Ferry)
could probably ID quite a few birds.
From the parking lot it was difficult to see due to distance and heat
distortion.
Could ID a phalarope, prob Red-necked spinning about, pects and yellowlegs.

Stump Lake Cypress Trees were less than stellar.
At least I got to see some fall warblers (4 species, 4 birds)

MO birds:
Riverlands had 24 Caspian terns at Linc Shields.
Really need to go there in the evening for much else.

Good birding,
Charlene Malone
St. Louis co.
