It occurs to me I might not have given directions to the bird.  Chalk it up to old age!!!!

Come to exit 69 of I-55. Go west towards Sikeston/Miner.  At the 4-way stop, Highway H, turn north (right).  Follow H until just before it crosses back over I-55, and turn left on an unmarked outer road.  Continue about a mile or so to the Sikeston Drag Strip. Just before the Dragstrip, turn west (left) on to Scott County Road 448.  The house is about 1/2 mile down on the left.  There is a very large filed of 14-18 inch grass on the right, and a field of cows near a house on the left.  The bird has been seen on both sides.
