Yes, saw the kite around 11am today before the rain, from the gate on Hwy.
D. "Esty" flew in from the southwest, worked the field for 15 minutes, then
flew out of sight over the trees to the west. A beautiful bird.

Subject: S-T kite Friday?

Anyone seeing the Swallow-tailed Kite today, 8/25, PLEASE post for those
coming this weekend.
I did not make it there before the rains, so did not see it soaring.
A few have seen it perched, so don't forget to look in the trees
surrounding the prairie if it's not soaring.

P.S. Will re-post directions in a while (before this evening).
Don't have time right now.
