Dear Mentor Birders,

I had the Great Pleasure of Watching a Scissor-Tailed Flycatcher on the
Telephone Wires at the Entrance Road to Eagle Bluffs at around 1:22 this
Afternoon...!!! I was heading to make a Quick Check at Lunch to see if Any
Water Birds were around when I Spotted those Wonderful Long Feathers
Hanging Down!!! I stopped and Watched Him (he was Watching me as well...)
sitting there for a little over 10 Minutes until a Truck drove by and
Scared him away... He flew to the small Trees that are in the Middle of the
Field on the Right as you are Turning in off the Paved Road... I didn't see
him on my way out...

I have also Spotted (3 - 2 Adults and 1 Juvenile) Scissor-Tailed
Flycatchers halfway between Tipton and Boonville & (1) at Greenview, which
is about two-thirds of the way to Eldon from Jefferson City...

Please let me know if Anyone else Spots Him out at Eagle Bluffs, it would
be Great to have the Confirmation, but I Am Positive of what Bird I Saw!!!
Thank You, Please Take Care.

Yours,
Jonathan B. Pons
Columbia, Boone County
