forgot to add... yesterday at the bittern basin unit, i heard what sounded like a Western Meadowlark.  I'm familiar with the songs of both meadowlark species, but it was far enough from me that I couldn't be absolutely sure.  Do Western Meadowlarks breed in MO, and how often are they found in the eastern half of the state?
