Did some birding this AM near Busch Conservation Area:

Painted Bunting (singing) at Katy Trail access at 7:15. I saw the bird at the
far end of the parking lot near a prominent dead tree. It was in the tree
just in front of this.

Blue Grosbeak (singing) where else but the blue grosbeak trail

Henslow's Sp. (singing, of course) near Lake 1 in Busch

Other regulars of note in the area:

N. Bobwhite
Green Heron
Red-headed Woodpecker
Acadian Flycatcher
Great-crested Flycatcher
White-eyed, Bell's, and Yellow-throated vireo
House Wren
Warblers: Parula, Yellow, Kentucky, C. Yellowthroat, Chat
Towhee
Field Sp.
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Indigo Bunting
Dickcissel
E. Meadowlark
Both Orioles

Also, in Forest Park, St. Louis, I have been seeing an immature night-heron
which I believe to be yellow-crowned. Adults of both sp. are in the area, but
head shape, bill shape, and bill color suggest yellow-crowned.
