Steve Kinder and I visited the Four Rivers Conservation Area on Sunday afternoon. We saw two or three Mississippi Kites soaring high in the sky over near the Horton area.

Later at the D U President's Marsh we observed in the neighborhood of 300 Great Egrets. In addition to the egrets were seven Double-crested Cormorants, some Canada Geese and Mallards. Although we tried, we were unable to pick out any other species of waders amoung all the Great Egrets.
