An amazing 23 people did a bird census at Blue River Parkway, Jackson
County, today. (Amazing people of course, but amazing numbers also.) This
area is a remnant riparian forest in south Kansas City. Three different
teams worked the area from 7:00 to 11:00 am. We had 61 species including
Cerulean Warbler, Yellow-throated Warbler, Willow Flycatcher and
Yellow-crowned Night Heron.

Thanks to everyone who helped. The complete list follows.
